Monday
Snack -  Digestive biscuit and Raisins.
Dinner - Chicken and Vegetable pie with New Potatoes- Jam sponge and custard.
Tea - Sweet Potato cakes- flapjack.

Tuesday
Snack -  Toast
Dinner -Cottage Pie-Peach crumble with cream
Tea - Pizza- Sprinkle cake 

Wednesday
Snack - Cucumber bread sticks and cheese.
Dinner - Fish cake with new potatoes and peas -Pineapple upside down and ice cream. 
Tea - Hot dogs and bread - Shortbread biscuits

Thursday
Snack - Crumpets
Dinner - Quorn pasta bake- Bananas and custard
Tea - Sandwiches with various fillings -Yoghurts

Friday
Snack - Apple and Pear
Dinner - Cowboy pie(Sausage, mashed potato and beans) -Angel delight
Tea - Cheddar Catherine wheels - Blueberry Muffin

Meals and dietary

We provide a well -balanced, nutritional diet prepared daily by our kitchen staff. We have a four weekly rota and have two seasonal menu's (Winter/Summer) 

We also cater for any special dietary needs on request.

(Please ring the nursery if your child requires dietary food and won't be attending that day. This saves us from wasting food.)

To prevent cross contamination, we have a colour system in place. Red for serious allergies, yellow for dairy free and green for vegetarian/vegan. This is so members of staff know which child has a dietary requirement and can make sure the food is given to the right child. Each room also has an allergen chart displayed so all members of staff are aware of any allergies in the room. This chart is also in the kitchen for the kitchen staff. 

The children enjoy planting and growing a variety of vegetables and herbs which are then used in the kitchen for the children's meals.
