Kara
Nursery Manager
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Kara has been part of the Good Foundations team since January 2015 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. She oversees the day to day running of the nursery, leading the staff team and ensuring high standards of care and education. Her favourite part of working with children is building special bonds with both children and their families, while helping every child get the best possible start in life. Although her role is now largely managerial, she still loves getting stuck into messy play, creative activities and making memories with the children whenever she gets the chance.
Olivia
Deputy Manager
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
Olivia has been part of the Good Foundations team since June 2017 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. She supports the Nursery Manager and leads the nursery in her absence, helping to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Her favourite part of working with children is seeing them reach each milestone as they grow, helping them get ready for school and sharing in the sense of achievement along the way.

She provides leadership, guidance and support across the nursery, helping to maintain quality and continuous improvement. Her favourite part of working with children is that every day is different and there is always something new to teach and discover together.

Explorers Room Leader
Beth has been part of the Good Foundations team since September 2025 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. As Explorers Room Leader, she provides a safe, nurturing environment where babies can build secure relationships and begin to explore the world around them. Her favourite part of working with children is helping them achieve their milestones.

Discoverers Room Leader
Kay has been part of the Good Foundations team since June 2010 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. As Discoverers Room Leader, she supports children in developing their communication, social and learning skills through engaging experiences and activities. Her favourite part of working with children is working alongside them towards achieving their milestones and seeing how happy they are when they succeed. She says it is joyful.

Discoverers Room Leader
Jess has been part of the Good Foundations team since January 2010 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. As Discoverers Room Leader, she helps children build confidence, independence and positive relationships as they prepare for the next stage of their development.

Inventors Room Leader
Leanne has been part of the Good Foundations team since July 2017 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. As Inventors Room Leader, she supports children in developing the confidence, independence and skills needed for a successful transition to school. Her favourite part of working with children is watching them progress and helping them get ready for school.

As SENCO, she works closely with children, families and professionals to ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive. Her favourite part of working with children is watching them have fun whilst accomplishing their milestones and celebrating each achievement along the way.

Danielle
Danielle has been part of the Good Foundations team since June 2008 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is that they brighten up her day.
Lia
Lia has been part of the Good Foundations team since September 2021 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is the bonds you create, watching them grow, helping them get school ready and feeling proud of how much they have achieved.
Maimouna
Maimouna has been part of the Good Foundations team since September 2025 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is when they say thank you after she has helped them.
Jenny
Jenny has been part of the Good Foundations team since April 2026 and holds an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is getting to know all their different personalities.
Chloe
Chloe has been part of the Good Foundations team since January 2022 and holds an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is watching them grow.
Kelsey
Kelsey has been part of the Good Foundations team since March 2022 and holds an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is seeing them accomplish new things.
Stacy
Has worked at Good Foundations Nursery since May 2024 and holds an NVQ Level 2 diploma in childcare.
Daisy
Daisy has been part of the Good Foundations team since August 2024 and holds a NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is bonding with them and having mini best friends that she knows inside and out.
Maisie
Maisie has been part of the Good Foundations team since October 2025 and is working towards an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is making them smile and happy.
Brooke
Brooke has been part of the Good Foundations team since May 2026 and is working towards an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is being creative.
Mia
Mia has been part of the Good Foundations team since May 2026 and is working towards an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is the cuddles.
Bader
Bader has been part of the Good Foundations team since June 2026 and is working towards an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is witnessing their childhood.
Fatimah
Fatimah has been part of the Good Foundations team since June 2026 and is working towards an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Childcare. Her favourite part of working with children is helping them, playing with them and interacting with them throughout the day.
Claire
Nursery Admin
Claire has been part of the Good Foundations team since March 2025 and is our Nursery Administrator, handling the administrative side of the nursery, including funding, invoices and correspondence. Her favourite part of working with children is joining in with group times and creating silly stories together that spark their imagination and bring lots of smiles.
Tracey
Nursery Cook
Tracey has been part of the Good Foundations team since October 2017. As Nursery Cook, she prepares nutritious, balanced meals and snacks, ensuring children receive healthy food that supports their growth and wellbeing. Her favourite part of working in the nursery is making sure every child leaves the table with a full tummy and a happy smile.
Sheena
Nursery Cook Assistant
Sheena has been part of the Good Foundations team since September 2017. As Nursery Cook Assistant, she supports the preparation and serving of nutritious meals and snacks, helping to ensure children enjoy healthy, balanced food each day. Her favourite part of working in the nursery is finding creative ways to encourage children to enjoy vegetables, often without them even realising it.
